Event Description

Our students are diving deep into the world of reverse engineering and ethical hacking this week! These hands-on sessions focus on penetration testing, where students learn to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in software systems.

Key Highlights:

Reverse Engineering: Students are dissecting software applications to understand their inner workings, gaining invaluable skills in analyzing binary code and uncovering hidden functionalities.

Ethical Hacking: Participants are practicing techniques to simulate cyberattacks, learning how to protect systems from potential threats while adhering to strict ethical guidelines.

Penetration Testing: Real-world scenarios are being tackled, allowing students to apply their knowledge in a controlled environment. They are mastering tools and methodologies used by cybersecurity professionals to secure networks and applications.

A special thank you to Prof Bastien Bodart for his invaluable insights in the Reverse Engineering course, and to Prof Benjamin Van Damme for his expert guidance in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking. Your dedication is shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals experts who can safeguard our digital future!
