Event Description

 The University Festival of Arts and Culture (UNIFAC) 2025 burst into life in Yaoundé from December 6th to 10th, 2025, transforming SUP’PTIC into a spectacular stage for Cameroon’s universities! Under the supportive auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, the 11th edition shone a spotlight on the inspiring theme: “UNIFAC: A showcase for the professionalization of entrepreneurship and artistic and cultural innovation in universities.”
 
Representing the Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology at the University of Bamenda were PIZIE JUDE CHO, Njinge Joseph, and Nsalar Lydiana Malah. 
 
But wait, there’s more! UNIFAC 2025 was not just about exhibitions and pitches; it had a series of powerful and memorable artistic showcases. Our beloved institution's Choir, The Choir of the Future, delivered inspiring performances that fused traditional harmonies with contemporary arrangements, keeping ears blessed and mouths wide open.
 
And we can't forget the electrifying University of Yaoundé I Dance Troupe with their mesmerizing choreography, deeply rooted in Cameroonian traditions, even the stage felt privileged to be mounted by them.
 
Then came the Mass Caravan, a grand procession that united diverse artistic expressions, stood as a powerful symbol of collaboration among Cameroon’s universities. Street eye witnesses were treated to a breathtaking display of culture, unfolding around the Ngoa-Ekele University area!
 
UNIFAC 2025 was a success, cementing its place once more as a strategic platform for cultural entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth engagement. The convergence of technological innovation from the Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology, the market-ready concept of CamRoots by Njinge Joe and Nsalar Lydiana, harmonizing authenticity with digital innovation, CamRoots truly embodied the festival’s mission to transform creativity into exciting professional opportunities!
Likewise, the artistic brilliance of the performers demonstrated how Cameroon’s universities are actively shaping a future where culture, technology, and security are intrinsically linked.
