Collaboration between ANTIC and the University of Bamenda Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology

Event Description
Delegations from the University of Bamenda led by the Head of Division of the University Cooperation accompanied by the Program Coordinator of the Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology had the honor of being received by the Director General of ANTIC.
The delegation's visit to ANTIC provided sharing of ideas and exploring potential avenues of collaboration between ANTIC and The University of Bamenda Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology.
During their visit, the delegation was well received by the Director General of ANTIC. As an accomplished Professor in cybersecurity who is fully aware of the security of the Cameroon’s cyberspace, he first presented technical concepts of cybersecurity and cryptology before presenting the missions of ANTIC which are visible via https://www.antic.cm/index.php/en/the-agency/organic-missions.html
The exchange of knowledge and perspectives has fostered a dynamic collaborative environment and sparked new ideas that will shape the future of the Centre for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology.
Furthermore, he encouraged The University of Bamenda on the quality of the students and an insistence on spearhead practical work, reassuring himself that the lessons are oriented in such a way as to allow graduated students to fight against Cybercrime on a national level first, in addition, he reassured the delegation from the University of Bamenda of ANTIC’s support for this prestigious and large-scale project.
Futhermore, the two institutions have agreed to organize the largest African conference on Cryptology in July 2024 via https://www.africacrypt2024.com/.
To conclude, the delegation from the University of Bamenda was very satisfied with this exchange with the Director General of ANTIC to whom it expressed its most sincere gratitude for the enriching exchanges.
